In the first weeks of your pregnancy you have a number of ultrasound scans, which show whether your baby is developing well. After that comes a stretch of uncertainty. You cannot feel your baby yet, and the gap between appointments can feel very long. To put an end to that waiting, you are welcome to drop in during clinic hours, outside your regular appointments, to listen to the heartbeat.

You might enjoy letting family or friends hear your baby’s heartbeat. You are very welcome to bring them too.
